After nearly a year-and-a-half of construction, developer Onni Group's two-tower 1212 Flower development is now rising high above Pico Station.

The project, which replaces a surface parking lot that front Hope, 12th and Flower Streets, will feature 40- and 31-story buildings featuring 730 residential units, 8,000 square feet of retail space and parking for up to 830 vehicles.

Chris Dikeakos Architects is designing the contemporary glass-and-steel towers, which will rise to peak heights of 529 and 421 feet.

Similar high-rise developments are also taking shape across Flower Street, including Circa and Oceanwide Plaza.
