Another mixed-use development is planned for a parking lot in Downtown Long Beach, according to the agenda for an upcoming meeting of the City's Planning Commission.

The project site, a .43-acre site at 135 Linden Avenue, is slated for a seven-story building featuring 82 apartment units, 4,091 square feet of ground-floor retail space and a four-level parking garage.

The property was previously under the ownership of a limited liability company known as Residences at Linden.  Additional details about the proposed development are currently unclear.

A similar mixed-use project from Sares-Regis Group is already under construction one block north at 4th Street, and a $195-million tower complex is slated for a parking lot near the Blue Line on Long Beach Boulevard.
