R.D. Olson Construction has unveiled new renderings for El Segundo's AC Hotel by Marriott, which is now rising at 2130 Maple Avenue.

The project, which is being developed by Welcome Group, Inc., will consist of a six-story building featuring 180 guest rooms, in addition to amenities such as a fitness center, meeting spaces, and a rooftop bar.

AXIS/GFA Architecture + Design is designing the hotel, which is located in close proximity to the Green Line's Mariposa Station and Los Angeles International Airport.

Completion of the hotel is anticipated in Spring 2019.

R.D. Olson is currently in the midst of construction on another AC Hotel at 6399 Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles.  The company, which also has a development arm, behind a proposed hotel in Downtown Glendale, as well as an Art Deco tower planned for Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood.
