Construction has progressed to the third floor above ground for the La Tijera Apartments, a new multifamily residential complex in Westchester.

The project, which will stand five stories at completion, is being developed by Los Angeles-based real estate firm CIM Group.  Plans call for 136 rental apartments, as well as amenities such as a fitness room and a rooftop deck.

The Architecture Design Collaborative is designing the new apartment complex, which is portrayed in elevation plans as a contemporary building clad with cement plaster.

A handful of similar residential developments are now rising throughout the Westchester neighborhood.
