Completion is nearing for another mixed-use apartment building in Echo Park

The latest project, located at 1313 W. Sunset Boulevard, consists of a four-story structure featuring 27 live/work apartments ranging between 410 and 1,200 square feet in size.

Architect Warren Techentin designed the low-rise structure, which fronts Sunset Boulevard with a perforated metal screen.  To the south, the building is wrapped with vertical wooden slats.

A similar multifamily residential development is planned immediately south by local developer ETCO Homes.
