La Terra Development and Gemdale USA have unveiled renderings for Pinnacle 360, a proposed multifamily residential development at the former Temple Hospital in Rampart Vilage.

The 2.9-acre property, located at 235 N. Hoover Street, is slated for the construction of a four-story, 240,000-square-foot building that would feature 214 dwelling units atop two levels of underground parking.  Proposed amenities include a fitness center, two simming pools, fire pits and roof-level sky decks.

Architecture firm Carrier Johnson + CULTURE is designing Pinnacle, which renderings portray as a contemporary low-rise building that responds to the hilly topography of the development site.  Landscaped areas wrap around the new construction, and additional open space is provided by a podium-level amenity deck.

La Terra and Gemdale both note that hillside property offers "unobstructed views" of Los Angeles landmarks such as the Hollywood Sign, Griffith Observatory and the Skyline of Downtown and Century City.

The project is currently in the midst of its community outreach process, and will require the approval of density bonus incentives in exchange for setting aside some of its apartments as affordable housing.
