The Hospital Club, a London-based social club catering to creative professionals, has announced a global expansion to Los Angeles.

The American outpost, dubbed h.Club LA, is set to open in 2018 as a dedicated space for artists and entrepreneurs to connect and collaborate.  The club will be located at the iconic intersection of Hollywood and Vine, making its home in the five-story building now known as the Redbury Hotel.

Like the London original, h.Club LA will offer programming including musical performances, film screenings, album launches, exhibitions, book readings and debates.  Members will also have access to 36 bedrooms, as well as amenities such as a rooftop restaurant, an outdoor pool deck, wellness facilities, co-working spaces and a music studio.

The Hospital Club was founded in 2004 by philanthropist and entrepreneur Paul G. Allen in London, England in a former hospital.
