Local real estate firm CityView is planning another mixed-use complex on the outskirts of Downtown Los Angeles.

Yesterday, a limited liability company linked to the Los Angeles-based developer filed plans to construct a five-story building at 1800 W. Beverly Boulevard in the Westlake neighborhood.  The low-rise structure would consist of up to 243 dwelling units above approximately 3,500 square feet of ground-floor commercial space.

The project is contingent on the approval of density bonus incentives and a site plan review by the City of Los Angeles.  All existing buildings on the property between Bonnie Brae Street and Burlington Avenue would be removed.

CityView is also behind a proposed development near the Expo Line's LATTC/Ortho Institute Station south of Downtown Los Angeles.
