Last week, the Hollywood Hills West Neighborhood Council's Planning and Land Use Management Committee previewed developer Kiran Patel's proposal to construct a multifamily residential complex on Cahuenga Boulevard.

The project, slated for an approximately 25,000-square-foot lot 3065-3091 N. Cahuenga Boulevard, would replace a one-story commercial building with a four-story edifice featuring 45 studio apartments - including five units of very low-income housing - with residential amenities and parking for up to 50 vehicles.

Alajajian Marcoosi Architects is designing the low-rise structure, which would sit just west of the 101 Freeway.  Plans call for an exterior of stucco and wood panels.

A budget and timeline for the project are currently unclear.
