Another week, another multifamily residential development near the Glendale Metrolink station.

Plans filed with the City of Glendale indicate that the owner of a industrial property at 1832 S. Brand Boulevard intends to redevelop the half-acre lot with an apartment complex.  A project description points to a 95-unit building, employing density bonus incentives in exchange for providing on-site affordable housing.

Records list the property owner as A&K Investment Co. of Glendale.

Similar developments are already underway on San Fernando and Los Feliz Roads.
