Newport Beach-based R.D. Olson Development is planning another hotel in Downtown Glendale, per a document from the city's Community Development Department.

The project, slated for an approximately 30,000-square-foot parking lot at Wilson Avenue and Louise Street, calls for the construction of a six-story building featuring 147 guest rooms, in addition to a lobby and conference space.

Architecture firm WATG is designing the proposed hotel as a modern interpretation of the Spanish Colonial Revival style.  The building would feature open space amenities including a pool deck and a pedestrian paseo.

Additional details about the project are unclear.
