Olive Hill Group has completed an interior renovation and rebranding of 1980s office building near Pershing Square.

The nine-story structure, known as "The Olive," is located at 631 Olive Street, south of Pershing Square.  The renovations include a makeover of the building's lobby, which was completed earlier this week.  On the floors above, existing office space saw upgrades including high ceilings to allow natural lighting.

Built in 1985, the Olive - like many of its neighbors - is primarily occupied by jewelers.

Developer Olive Hill Group is also in the process of upgrading an office property in Culver City.

Apartments With Retail Planned West of the Grove

Low-rise building would feature 50 apartments over ground-floor commercial uses.

An auto body repair shop and two small commercial buildings located near the Grove could make way for a residential-retail complex.

Earlier today, plans were filed with the City of Los Angeles to construct a mixed-use project at 8000-8014 W. 3rd Street in the Beverly Grove neighborhood.  Plans call for a 50-unit building - including five affordable apartments - with approximately 7,250 square feet of ground-floor commercial space.
