Nearly two years into construction, construction is proceeding rapidly for Onni Group's largest tower yet in Downtown Los Angeles, which is known as 825 South Hill.

Located on a mid-block site between Olive and Hill Streets, just north of LEVEL Furnished Living, the project consists of a nearly 50-story building that will feature 516 rental apartments above more than 5,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space.

Chris Dikeakos Architects designed the modern glass high-rise, which will soar to a peak height of 637 feet above ground level.  At the time of its completion, 825 South Hill will likely rank as the tallest residential building in the City of Los Angeles.

The property sits directly across the street from Atelier, a similar 33-story development by Carmel Partner Group.

Onni has a growing portfolio in Downtown, with ongoing construction for two towers near Staples Center, an office rehab in the Fashion District, and additional high-rise projects slated for the Civic Center, the Arts District, and South Park.
