A project page from the Mill Creek Residential Trust website has unveiled a rendering for Modera West L.A., a large apartment complex now taking shape at Westchester's Howard Hughes Center.

The project consists of six-story buildings at 5901 and 5902 Center Drive, featuring 376 apartments with amenities and a small amount of dcommunity-serving retail space.  Plans call for studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans ranging between 492 and 1,506 feet.

VTBS Architects is designing the podium-type buildings, which will include amenities such as a fitness center, a swimming pool, a rooftop deck  and a business center.

Move-ins are expected to begin at Modera West L.A. in late 2017.

Other recent changes in the Howard Hughes Center include the completion of the adjacent Altitude apartments, as well as the ongoing renovation of the Promenade shopping center.

Mill Creek Residential is also being two similar projects in Hollywood.
