A document from the Hollywood Hills West Neighborhood Council has revealed renderings for the Chaplin Hotel, a proposed development on Sunset Boulevard.

The project, slated for the northeast corner of Sunset and Poinsettia Place, would consist of an 11-story building featuring 93 guest rooms in addition to a rooftop pool deck, an underground parking garage and street-fronting retail space.

Los Angeles-based Roschen Van Cleve Architects is designing the Chaplin, which would rise to a maximum height of 126 feet above ground level.  Much of the structure would be composed of concrete, obscured with a photovoltaic array along Sunset Boulevard and Poinsettia Place.

A timeline for developer 7219-7225 West Sunset, LLC is currently unclear.
