Next week, the Los Angeles City Planning Commission will review developer 6648 Reseda, LLC's proposal to construct a residential-retail complex in the San Fernando Valley.

The project, located at 6648-6670 N. Reseda Boulevard, would consist of a six-story building featuring 205 residential units atop approximately 5,900 square feet of ground-floor retail space and parking for 307 vehicles.  Plans call for a mixture of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, including 18 units of affordable housing priced at the very low income level.

The Code Solution is designing the podium-type structure, which would feature an exterior of white stucco and wood panels.  A site plans shows multiple amenity decks, as well as a rooftop pool.

A staff report by the Planning Department suggests that the Commission approve the proposed development.
