Houston-based developer Dinerstein Cos. is continuing with construction at the Millennium East Village, a multifamily residential complex on the former site of the Santa Monica Village Trailer Park.

Located on a 3.5-acre property at 2930 Colrado Avenue, the project will feature multiple five-story structures comprising 374 studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and 25,000 square feet of street-fronting commercial space.  A total of 38 units will be set aside as affordable housing.

MIchael W. Folonis Architects is designing the mixed-use complex, wwhich will feature multiple walkways and common open space amenities.

The property is located a short walk east from the Santa Monica Gateway office campus, which is also under construction.

LOHA-Designed Houses Coming to Franklin Village

Five small lot homes to rise north of the 101 Freeway.

Work is getting underway for a new set of small lot houses near Franklin Village in Hollywood, according to a representative of developer ROM Investments.

The project, located at 1826 Canyon Drive, will consist of five single-family residences, each featuring two bedrooms, 2.5-bathrooms, rooftop decks, and two-car garages.
