Another multifamily residential development is set to rise just off of Sawtelle Boulevard in West Los Angeles.

According to information posted by the West L.A. Sawtelle Neighborhood Council, property owner Darius Khakshouri hopes to replace a single-family residence at 11272 W. Nebraska Avenue with a six-story building that would feature 24 apartments above two levels of basement parking.  The project, which is seeking entitlements through the Transit Oriented Communities program, would provide three units of extremely-low-income housing.

Warren Techentin Architecture is designing the podium-type building, which would include a rooftop deck and a mix of studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments.  Techentin has designed several other multifamily projects along the Sawtelle corridor.

Additional details about the Nebraska Avenue project are unclear.
