A single-family home in Los Feliz is slated to give way for a small condominium complex.

According to an agenda item from this week's meeting of the Central Los Angeles Area Planning Commission, applicant Yu Duan of USA Rongchen Development intends to construct a three-story, six-unit development with subterranean parking at 4718 W. Franklin Avenue.

Renderings portry a contemporary low-rise structure.

Planning staff have recommending that the Commission grant approval to the project.

A freight railway that cuts through South L.A. is set for rebirth as an active transportion corridor.
