This week's edition of Throwback Thursday gives a before-and-after look at CIM Group's 34-story tower at Grand Hope Lofts, courtesy of Los Angeles-based architectural photographer Hunter Kerhart.

The project at 888 S. Hope Street, designed by architecture firm CallisonRTKL, will feature 526 residential units above 5,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space.  An adjacent parking garage, which is already complete, will eventually feature an outdoor pool, green space and a rooftop deck.

Suffolk Construction estimates that the tower will be completed in 2018.

The ground floor of the adjacent parking garage is now occupied by a Petco as of December 2016.
