In this week's edition of Throwback Thursday, we return again to the $1-billion Metropolis development.

The before image, taken by architectural photographer Hunter Kerhart in July 2015, shows the project as its first phase was making its way above ground.  The 38-story condo tower and the 19-story Hotel Indigo are now open.

The after image, from January 2018, shows the project's third and fourth towers - standing 40 and 56 stories respectively - at the completion of vertical construction.

The full buildout of the project comprises more than 1,200 condominiums, 350 hotel rooms, and retail space.

Construction forges ahead for Bridewell, a new development of small lot homes in Highland Park.

The project, located at the intersection of Bridwewell and Pollard Streets, is being built by Santa Clarita-based developer Williams Homes.  The nine single-family residences will feature floor plans between 1,865 and 2,456 square feet.
