A webcam hosted on the website of Crane Development Corporation offers a birds-eye view of construction at West L.A. 135, an upcoming mixed-use development in Palms.

Greystar Real Estate Partners, the developer behind the project, is building a seven-story structure that will feature 135 studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments and 14,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space.  The podium-type building will also include 11 units of low-income housing, 294 underground parking spaces, and amenities such as a fitness center, a swimming pool and a rooftop deck.

VTBS Architects is designing the contemporary development, which will sit across the street from Sony Pictures Studios and just outside of downtown Culver City.

The project was previously on pace for completion in 2018.

Crane Development is also collaborating on two similar residential-retail buildings in Pasadena, which are also covered by live cameras.
