More than one year after we last checked in, steel framing has reached its peak at the future site of 42XX, a new office campus in Del Rey.

The project at 4204-4230 W. Glencoe Avenue, named as a reference to its address, is being developed by The Bradmore Group, a Marina del Rey-based real estate firm. The new complex will consist of three office buildings, oriented on a central courtyard and connected by a series of paseos. Approved plans call for a combined sum of more than 120,000 square feet of offices at completion, as well as parking and 1,500 square feet of retail space at ground level.

Rios is designing 42XX, which is shown in renderings as contemporary three-story structures linked on their upper floors by large decks and pedestrian bridges.

According to a landing page on the Rios website, the office complex is being built with a combination of mass timber, steel, and concrete.

Completion of 42XX is on track to occur in 2024, according to a leasing profile on Loopnet.

The project site is located in a formerly industrial area which has gradually transitioned to a neighborhood of condominiums and loft-style apartments over the past two decades, with recent additions such as California Landmark Group's 230-unit G8 development.

A similar 155,000-square-foot office complex, now partially leased by video game maker Electronic Arts, was recently built not far south near the end of the 90 Freeway.
