Last month, an Orange County-based developer broke ground on a multifamily residential development in the Irvine Business Complex.

The 2525 Main apartments, which comes from J+R Group, will consist of a five-story building featuring 272 apartments and parking for up to 453 vehicles.

A rendering portrays a contemporary low-rise structure, spread across an approximately 3.6-acre project site.  The J+R website describes the project as featuring a mix of amenities including a fitness center, a rooftop yoga patio, and bocce ball courts.

A timeline for the 2525 Main project has not been revealed.

J+R Group is also planning a second building on the property that would consist of 150 additional apartments and 3,200 square feet of ground-floor commercial space.
