Sanderson J. Ray Development has announced the ground breaking of the Westerly, a new luxury apartment complex at the southwest corner of Main Street and Jamboree Road in the Irvine Business Complex.

The approximately five-acre site will give birth to 388 residential units, featuring a rooftop deck, private lounges and multiple swimming pools.

Architects Orange is the chief architect for the project, which officially began construction in November 2016 and is scheduled for completion by January 2019.

Newport Beach-based Hawk Holdings is acting as capital advisor to Sanderson J. Ray Develoment, and financing was provided through Quadrant Real Estate Advisors.

Streetlights, a Texas-based general contractor, is building the multifamily complex.
