The project, located on a 4.3-acre site at 22055-22121 Clarendon Street, is replacing the former Woodland Hills Post Office with a five-storycomplex featuring 335 studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. The new buildings wrap an six-level parking structure for 369 vehicles, shielded from view at the north side of the property. Plans also call for communal amenities such as a roof deck, a fitness center a swimming pool, a dog run and a walking trail around the perimeter of the building.
Architects Orange designed the podium-type development, which will incorporate "green" features to reduce energy and water consumption. These include 28 electric vehicle chargign stations and rooftop solar panels.
Construction of the Clarendon is expect to finish by August 2019, with preleasing beginning in the preceding summer.
Greystar has been hired to manage the property.
