A one-story retail complex in south Koreatown could make way for a multifamily residential development.

Yesterday, plans were submitted to the City of Los Angeles for a residential-retail complex at 3170 W. Olympic Boulevard.  The subject property, which spans approximately .59 acres, would yield 252 residential units above 33,280 square feet of ground-floor retail space and underground parking.  A total of 40 apartments would be set aside for very low-income households.

A case filing links the project to the limited liability company CBS Property Group.  Further details about the development are unclear.

The project site sits two blocks west of 3060 W. Olympic Boulevard, where prominent Koreatown landlord Jamison Services, Inc. is in the midst of a similar mixed-use building.
