Earlier this year, developers Hankey Investment Company and Jamison Services, Inc. topped out on CIRCA, a two-tower development in Downtown Los Angeles.

The project, located across the street from Staples Center and L.A. Live, consists of twin 35-story buildings that will feature 648 rental apartments, 48,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space and parking.

Harley Ellis Devereaux is CIRCA's design architect, with interior work by Downtown-based HansonLA.

Small Lot Homes to Replace Triplex in Silver Lake

The development site is located just south of Fountain Avenue.

A series of early 20th century buildings in Silver Lake could make way for a new development of small lot homes.

The project, filed earlier this week with the City of Los Angeles, would replace a triplex at 1756-1762 Griffith Park Boulevard with 12 single-family residences.
