Developers Hankey Investment Company and Jamison Services, Inc. joined with 600 construction workers last week to celebrating the topping out of CIRCA, a $500-million high-rise complex in Downtown Los Angeles.

Located at 1200 S. Figueroa Street, near Staples Center and L.A. Live, the project consists of twin 35-story towers that will feature 648 rental units atop 48,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space.  Pre-leasing for the apartments is expected to begin this winter, with move-ins scheduled for Spring 2018.

The mixture of one- and two-bedroom apartments and penthouse units range from 700 to 4,000 square feet in size.  Residents will have access to a two-acre amenity deck offering dog parks, fire pits and two swimming pool.  Plans also call for rooftop sky lounges, with views of the Los Angeles basin.

Rents will range from $3,000 to $25,000 per month.

The design and engineering team for the project includes Harley Ellis Devereaux, HansonLA and Cary Kopczynski & Company.

A new flythrough video offers a first glimpse of what the completed project will look like.  See below.
