Jamison Services, already in the midst of construction on a handful of apartments in Koreatown, is adding more to the pipeline.

This week, the Los Angeles-based firm will break ground on 700 Manhattan, a mixed-used-complex located just south of Metro's Wilshire/Western Station.  The seven-story edifice will feature 160 residential units, more than 10,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space, and an array of ameniteis that includes a pool deck and a dog run.

GMP Architects is designing the L-shaped podium-type building, which will wrap around a small retail center.

Completion is expected in Summer 2018.

The property is located midway between two similar developments from Jamison at 3980 and 3640 Wilshire Boulevard.
