Two single-family residences in the Mid City area have bitten the dust, making way for a new development of small lot homes.

The project, located now taking shape on two parcels at 4723-4727 W. St. Charles Place, will consist of eight single-family residences in a U-shaped arrangement.  Plans call for a mixture of three- and four-bedroom floor plans, ranging between approximately 2,300 square feet and nearly 2,600 square feet.

Architect Tracy A. Stone designed the small lot project, which is portrayed as a collection of three-story structures with an exterior of wood panels.
