A year after we last dropped by, the steel frame of Relevant Group's Tommie Hotel is now complete in Hollywood.

The project, which replaced a parking lot at 6516-6526 W. Selma Avenue, consists of an eight-story edifice which will feature 212 guest rooms and restaurant space upon completion.

Steinberg Hart designed the contemporary mid-rise structure, which will be capped by a rooftop pool deck.  Additionally, plans call for an active alleyway running along its eastern property line, connecting to a rear-facing courtyard.

Completion is expected in 2020.

The Tommie is the third in a string of hotel developments built by Relevant Group in Hollywood, including a Dream Hotel one block east and a Thompson Hotel on a neighboring site along Wilcox Avenue.

Relevant Group is also developing an eight-story hotel at the intersection of Selma and Wilcox, and is renovating the historic Hollywood Citizen News Building as event space.  Its other Los Angeles projects include the proposed renovation of the Hotel Barclay in Downtown's Historic Core, as well as a two-tower development at the Morrison Hotel in South Park.
