A long empty lot in Silver Lake has given way to a new small lot subdivision.
The property, located just west of Glendale Boulevard at 2267 W. Duane Street, consists of three townhomes arranged along a common driveway.
The project, called Skyline at Silver Lake, consists entirely of three-bedroom, 2,500-square-foot homes featuring roof decks and two-car garages. The three-story structures are clad in stucco and wood paneling.
The owner of the property is BSL West Coast Real Estate, according to a sign posted to the development site.
Two lots east at 2257 Duane Street, site preparation is underway for a similar development consisting of five single-family dwellings.
City records list the project owner and applicant as attorney Jonathan Lehrer-Graiwer.
The subdivision is being designed by Los Angeles-based Anonymous Architects.
A short distance east on Glendale Boulevard, construction is now wrapping up on a larger development consisting of 18 small lot homes.
