Samitaur Constructs and Eric Owen Moss Architects have enjoyed a fruitful partnership over the past several decades, creating numerous undulating office campuses in Culver City's Hayden Tract.  Their work also jumps Ballona Creek into Los Angeles city limits, with the latest example being a new creative office building taking shape on Jefferson Boulevard.

The project, located at 5860 Jefferson Boulevard, consists of a warehouse-like one-story building featuring a mezzanine level.  At completion, it will feature just under 50,000 square feet of rentable space.

Per a LoopNet profile, the building will feature a metal exterior.  A landscaped atrium, skylights and bifold "door-in-roof" walls would flood the interior with natural light.

Crews are currently assembling the metal framework of the building.  A completion date is unclear.

(W)rapper, a 17-story office tower from the same development team, is expected to begin construction within two months nearby on Jefferson Boulevard.
