Renderings have emerged for the second phase of Lincoln Property Company's Stella Apartments, a mixed-use complex located near Marina del Rey.

The project, which was filed last September with the City of Los Angeles, calls for the addition of 65 residential units in a six-story building.  The proposed development would add to the existing 244 apartments and ground-floor retail space on the property.

Renderings from DesignARC, the Los Angeles-based architecture firm that worked on phase one of Stella, portray a contemporary podium-type structure.  Some existing green space on the site would be retained as a private dog park.

A timeline for the project has not been announced.

Immediately west of the property, plans were also filed last year for an ambitious redevelopment of the Marina Marketplace.
