Local property developer California Landmark Group (CLG) has completed work on the LC, a new residential-retail complex at the northern edge of Larchmont Village.

The four-story building is located on an approximately 1.25-acre property bounded by bounded by Melrose, Camerford and El Centro Avenues.  The low-rise structure contains a total of 85 apartments, situated above 3,500 square feet of street-level retail space and a subterranean parking garage.

The LC includes a mixture of one-and-two-bedroom dwellings which range from 600 to 1,100 square feet in floor area.  According to an official project website, each unit will offer energy-efficient appliances and high-quality finishes.  Other features in-home washer-dryer sets, walk-in closets and oversized showers and bath tubs.  Some units may also offer high ceilings, polished concrete floors and private balconies.

Designs from PK Architecture call for a wide range of residential amenities, including a fitness center and a screening room.  The building its highlighted by its large rooftop deck, views of Southern California landmarks such as Paramount Studios and the Hollywood sign.

Mixed-Use Development Planned Near Laguna Niguel Metrolink Station

The Laguna Niguel Planning Commission has approved a mixed-use development near the city's Metrolink Station.  The joint venture between Blackwood Real Estate and Walbern, located near the intersection of Crown Valley Parkway and Forbes Road, will consist of 100 two- and three-bedroom apartments in a seven-story building.  Plans also call for 2,700 square feet of ground-floor retail space, as well as a pool courtyard, a fitness center, a private garden, and a sky deck.
