Eight months after we last dropped by, the wood-and-concrete frame of a new apartment complex from Frost/Chaddock Developers is nearly complete in Larchmont.

Located on Wilton Place between Clinton Street and Maplewood Avenue, the project replaces nine single-family homes with a five-story edifice featuring 88 one- and two-bedroom apartments and parking for 165 vehicles.  Residents will have access to amenities that include a swimming pool, multiple courtyards, and a rooftop deck.

The block-long structure, designed by Reed Architectural Group, will be clad with smooth stucco, concrete, and metal panels.

A timeline for project completion has not been announced.

Other ongoing projects for Frost/Chaddock include similar developments now under construction in Victor Heights and Toluca Lake, and a three-building mixed-use complex slated for Silver Lake.

Just across the street from the Wilton Street development, another single-family home is set to make way for a five-story, 13-unit apartment complex.
