The proposed development, slated for the northwest corner of 4th Street and Kingsley Drive, would consist of a five-story building featuring 19 residential units - including three set aside for lower-income renters - with parking for 25 vehicles.
City records list the project applicant as the Vernon-based entity 355 Kingsley LP.
KSK Design is designing the podium-type building, which will feature an exterior of painted plaster and wood panels. Plans also call for a rooftop amenity deck.
Construction is anticipated to occur over an approximately 12-month period.
The project site is located two blocks east of the intersection of 4th Street and Normandie Avenue, where Jamison Services, Inc. is now building a seven-story, 224-unit apartment complex on the former site of a parking lot.
