The seven-story development, which comes from a limited liability company called The Condor, would create up to 177 apartments and 2,500 square feet of ground-floor retail on a property at 1334 S. Flower Street in South Park. The project could also trade six planned live/work apartments at its street level to increase the total amount of retail to 8,800 square feet.
Parking for up to 200 vehicles could be built at the ground-floor and three basement levels; proposed amenities would include a pool courtyard, a club room, a fitness center, and multiple outdoor decks.
DFH Architects is designing the mid-rise structure, which would preserve a 1919 commercial building and incorporate it into the new development.
Construction of 1334 Flower is expected to occur over 36 months, starting in July 2019 and finishing in July 2022.
A similar mixed-use development is planned nearby at 1400 S. Flower Street.
