The website of Large Architecture has offered up a new batch of renderings for 2900 Wilshire, the next high-rise development from Jamison Services, Inc. and Hankey Capital.

Planned for a three-acre property across the street from Lafayette Park - on the border between Koreatown and MacArthur Park - the project calls for a 23-story tower featuring 644 apartments and 13,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space.

The building is designed with a curving, 269-foot-tall structure rising above a podium consisting of residential units and parking for more than 1,100 vehicles.  Open space amenities - including a dog park and a swimming pool - are also planned for outdoor decks at the seventh and roof levels.

A timeline for the project has not been announced.

A one-story commercial building in Tarzana could make way for a mixed-use development, according to plans filed earlier today with the City of Los Angeles.  The project, slated for two parcels at 5431-5505 N. Reseda Boulevard would consist of a five-story building featuring 40 residential units - including five set aside for very-low-income households - above 2,540 square feet of ground-floor retail space.
