A new slideshow video previews fresh renderings for Glendale's future Armenian American Museum, which is being designed by Alajajian Marcoosi Architects.

The approximately 30,000-square-foot museum will rise in Glendale's Central Park, replacing a grass field along Colorado Street.  The City recently approved a new master plan for the surrounding park which would replace the green space lost for the construction of the museum.

According to the project's official website, the museum will feature various exhibitions, as well as exhibition and research opportunities focused on the Armenian American experience.

Marcoosi's design is described as being inspired by the rock formations and mountains of Armenia, as well as the Verdugo Mountains located north of Glendale.
