The long wait is finally over: the Dream Hollywood is here.

A representative of Dream Hotels sends word that the boutique inn 6417 W. Selma Avenue is slated for a debut in early 2017, adding 178 guest rooms and a number of food and beverage venues one block south of Hollywood Boulevard.

The 10-story development, designed by Santa Monica-based Killefer Flammang Architects, is highlighted by a rooftop amenity deck and a new pedestrian alley along the side of the property.

Five Chairs, the real estate firm behind the project, is planning a similar establishment on an adjacent site at Selma and Wilcox Avenues.
