Vertical construction is complete for a mixed-income housing complex in Hyde Park, a short distance from a future station on Metro's Crenshaw/LAX Line.

The project, which comes from Haroni Investments, is now taking form on an L-shaped property at 3517 Hyde Park Boulevard.  The new five-story building features 51 one- and two-bedroom dwellings, as well as common amenities such as a 29-car garage and a rooftop deck.  Plans call for six units of very low-income housing, as well as 45 market rate apartments.

John Kaliski Architects is designing the low-rise structure, which is on pace for completion in 2018.

Mixed-Use Development Proposed for Reseda Boulevard

Five-story building to rise north of Ventura Boulevard.

A one-story commercial building in Tarzana could make way for a mixed-use development, according to plans filed earlier today with the City of Los Angeles.  The project, slated for two parcels at 5431-5505 N. Reseda Boulevard would consist of a five-story building featuring 40 residential units - including five set aside for very-low-income households - above 2,540 square feet of ground-floor retail space.
