Toledo Homes, the developer behind the project at 178 S. Euclid Avenue, has obtained entitlements to build a six-story edifice containing 42 condominiums and 1,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space.  Plans also call for subterranean parking.

Onyx Architects is designing the project, which is named One Seventy Eight Euclid for its address.  Renderings depict a contemporary low-rise structure with a sand-colored exterior and glass-covered balconies.

At the time of the project's approval in late 2018, a representative of Toledo Homes stated that completion was expected in roughly 18 months.

The project is one of several new developments in close proximity to the Paseo mall, including the Colorado 77 condominiums now under construction at Los Robles Avenue.  Oakland-based healthcare provider Kaiser Permanente has also opened its new medical school nearby.

Toledo Homes, which is headquartered in Pasadena, is also building new condominiums in Glendale.
