One block north of the Glendale Galleria, exterior work is now underway on the Harrison, a mixed-use complex that will include residential units above a ground-level CVS Pharmacy.

According to the website of the Molasky Group of Companies, the Las Vegas-based developer behind the project, the six-story structure will feature a mixture of 164 studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments ranging from 600 square feet to 1,250 square feet in size.  The upper floors of the building will also include amenities such as a resort-style courtyard - bridging the two halves of the development - as well as a roof garden.

Below, plans call for a 15,000-square-foot retail space that will be wholly occupied by CVS.  The project will also feature a two-level underground parking garage, and a central alleyway offering drive-thru service for the pharmacy.

Humphreys & Partners Architects is designing the podium-type development.

The property sits catacorner to an 11-story Hyatt Place hotel that is also under construction.
