Construction is underway for Sonata, a new mixed-use complex from Ensemble Development in Downtown Long Beach.

The project, located at 207 Seaside Way, consists of a six-story building featuring 112 residential units and 2,000 square feet of pedestrian-oriented retail space.

Architecture firm Studio T-Square 2 recently unveiled renderings for the project, which will include a rooftop sky lounge and a pool.

A 605-foot pedestrian bridge, designed by Studio Pali Fekete architects, runs east-to-west across the project site, offering access to pedestrian-oriented retail establishments.

The project site is located just one block east of a proposed hotel tower at Ocean Boulevard and Pine Avenue.
