Jamison Services, Inc. has started construction on yet another mixed-use development in Koreatown.

The latest project, located at the southwest corner of 8th and Berendo Streets, will consist of a seven-story building featuring 98 rental apartments above approximately 3,500 square feet of ground-level commercial space and a parking garage.

Architect Daryoush Safai is designing the podium-type development, which renderings portray as a contemporary building featuring two wings wrapping a courtyard.

The project is the second collaboration between Safai and Jamison Services, following a similar multifamily complex now rising just south of Olympic Boulevard.
