Just south of Hollywood and Highland, Mill Creek Residential Trust's mixed-use development known as Modera Hollywood is approaching completion.

Located on two lots at 1600 N. Highland and 1600 N. McCadden Place, the project consists of two six-story buildings with a total of 248 apartments and 12,800 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. The rental units feature a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans with an average of 861 square feet.

The podium-type project, which features a series of contemporary floating wood masses above a transparent ground-floor, is being designed by Togawa Smith Martin. Amenities include resort-style pools, rooftop decks, a music recording and live streaming studio, and a 24-hour fitness center.

According to the Mill Creek Residential website, preleasing will begin in August 2019.

The developer is currently planning a similar development by the name of Modera Argyle - a seven-story mixed-use building set for completion in 2023.
