The 90-acre L.A. County + USC Medical Center Campus is ready to add more student housing.

According to plans filed yesterday with the City of Los Angeles, a property located at 1630 N. San Pablo Street is slated for the construction of a nearly 135,000-square-foot building that would feature 95 units of graduate student housing, as well as amenities, leasing space and communal open space.

The project is the latest in a string of new developments planned or underway at the medical center, following the 115,000-square-foot Norris Healthcare Consultation Center and a 178-unit student housing complex located next-door to 1630 San Pablo.

Also planned at the corner of San Pablo and Alcazar Street is an $80-million Hyatt House hotel that would feature 200 guest rooms.
