Exterior work is now underway for a mutlfamily residential development on the border between Hancock Park and Koreatown.

The five-story building, located at 850 Crenshaw Boulevard, will feature 44 residential units above a parking garage.  Summerland Partners Group, Inc. is planning a mixture of two- and three-bedroom dwellings, in addition to amenities such as a rooftop garden.

Kamran Tabrizi Architects & Associates designed the podium-type development.

Summerland was also behind a similar apratment complex which was recently completed at Crenshaw's intersection with Wilshire Boulevard.

A one-story commercial building in Tarzana could make way for a mixed-use development, according to plans filed earlier today with the City of Los Angeles.  The project, slated for two parcels at 5431-5505 N. Reseda Boulevard would consist of a five-story building featuring 40 residential units - including five set aside for very-low-income households - above 2,540 square feet of ground-floor retail space.
